Seham brings over 12 years of experience in the banking industry, with a large focus on digital banking. She has a proven track-record of transforming traditional business models with market-driven insights and innovation. She has managed multiple markets and worked across different geographies as a business head. She is an MBA Goldmedalist from a leading business school along with a Bachelors degree in Business. She describes herself as passionate about all things digital! Her goal has always been to excel in this space by taking on new challenges.
In August 2015 Seham took over as the Head of Digital Banking in UAE.
Throughout her career Seham has held various positions including Head of Digital Banking, Lead Digital Payments, Regional Head of Digital Banking and Manager Digital Channels.
In his her previous role, Seham has led large multichannel and digital transformation programmes for the bank to ignite growth and innovation. She has also designed a digital strategy and roadmap to optimise service and sales delivery, which combined digital and physical customer touch points. Prior to that, she has also led the digital strategy for one of the largest local banks in Pakistan, MCB Bank.
Seham has been instrumental in defining the channel & payment strategy for UAE and has recently led critical digitization initiatives such as OEM Wallet implementation, Touch ID Launch, Digital sales, MasterPass Wallet, Data Locker and Online & Mobile UI revamp.
She lives in Dubai with her husband and 5 children.
